CHAPTER VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

 

OUR MISSION        

·        To stop impaired driving and to support victims of this violent crime.

 

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

·        Build, maintain / update and / or enhance the Chapter’s website as agreed upon by the Chapter board of directors.

 

COMMITMENT                                                                                                                    

·        Variable.

 

REQUIREMENTS

·        Read and sign MADD Canada’s information technology (IT) policy.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: KEY TASKS / ACTIVITIES       

·        Build the Chapter’s website as agreed upon by the Chapter board of directors (if required).

·        Maintain / update the Chapter’s website as agreed upon by the chapter board of directors (as necessary / requested).

·        Enhance the Chapter’s website as agreed upon by the Chapter board of directors (as necessary / requested).

·        Be knowledgeable about MADD Canada’s policies, programs and services.

·        Abide by the policies and procedures as outlined in MADD Canada’s IT policy.

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALITIES

·        Strong computer skills.

·        Prior experience building, maintaining / updating and enhancing websites.

·        Working knowledge with the following: front page and HTML.

·        Reliable.

·        Mature.

 

ORIENTATION

·        You will receive an Orientation Guide and might be asked to attend an Orientation Session (from / by the local Chapter).

 

TRAINING

·        You will be supported and trained by the Chapter President and / or the Chapter Administrative Assistant.

 

OPPORTUNITES FOR

·        Students: College / University / High School (placement and / or 40 hours).

·        Retired individuals.

·        Seniors.

·        Working professionals.
