CHAPTER VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTION

  

 

OUR MISSION        

·        To stop impaired driving and to support victims of this violent crime.

 

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

·        As the Grants Writer Volunteer you are responsible for applying for various community and corporate grants for your local Chapter’s projects and initiatives.  You will work collaboratively with fellow board members; community partners and the national office to support our mission.

 

COMMITMENT                                                                                                        

·        Variable.

 

REQUIREMENTS

·        Read and sign MADD Canada’s information technology (IT) policy and Volunteer Code of Conduct.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: KEY TASKS / ACTIVITIES       

·        Working with the National Office and your Chapter Board, you will research available corporate and community grants.

·        Apply of grants as agreed upon by the Chapter board of directors (if required).

·        Write and submit reports to the granting body as required.

·        Be knowledgeable about MADD Canada’s policies, programs and services.

·        Abide by the policies and procedures as outlined in MADD Canada’s IT policy.

ORIENTATION

·        You will receive an Orientation Guide and might be asked to attend an Orientation Session (from / by the local Chapter).

 

TRAINING

·        You will be supported and trained by the Chapter President and / or the Chapter Administrative Assistant.
